Wrightstown to Welcome Skip’s Famous Fried Chicken at Former Country Store
Wrightstown residents will soon enjoy some of Lancaster County’s best chicken sandwiches, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
Dan and Jeremy Cruz have partnered with Skip and Marcus Stoltzfus to bring Skip’s Food Truck’s renowned fried chicken sandwiches to Bucks County.
The new eatery will be located in the former Wrightstown Country Store building at Route 413 and Penns Park Road.
“I had a taste of his chicken sandwich and literally it was the best chicken sandwich I had eaten,” said Dan Cruz, who met Skip at the New Holland Fair last year.
The menu will feature Skip’s famous fried chicken sandwich, cooked to order with five different heat levels, along with breakfast sandwiches, chicken tenders, fries, and more.
The eatery will source its eggs and meats locally from Rush Valley Farm and offer Calm Waters Coffee from Newtown.
The takeout-only spot will be open from 6 AM to 8 PM Monday to Saturday and from 11 AM on Sundays.
The brothers aim to open by early July after completing renovations.
