On Apr. 3, 2024, Meridian Bank was named a Top 10 Lender by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) for the year 2023.

Meridian Bank has been a lending partner with PHFA for 13 years, and out of the 103 PHFA lending partners in 2023, Meridian once again was a top participating lender. Meridian has finished in the top 10 lenders in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, and now 2023. 

Meridian Bank’s Mortgage Loan Originator Rick Thorpe closed 37 PHFA loans in 2023, ranking him as the eighth-highest originator. It was his third consecutive Top 10 Mortgage Originator Award (2021, 2022, 2023) from PHFA.

In 2023, Meridian Bank closed 133 PHFA loans, and since its partnership with PHFA began, Meridian has helped almost 1,200 families buy their dream homes.
