The World Atlas has named two Bucks County towns the most walkable in Pennsylvania, due to their access to cultural hubs and museums.

Singles seeking to transition from bachelor life to a more settled existence often choose Doylestown, according to a survey from DatingNews.com, writes Damon C. Williams for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The town made the list of the top 150 towns in the U.S. for settling down, joining Lititz and West Chester as the only Pennsylvania municipalities on the list.

Doylestown’s “white picket fence” lifestyle earned it the 19th spot in the survey, just behind Laramie, WY, and ahead of Chapel Hill, NC, and Exeter, NH.

DatingNews.com’s survey of 3,000 singles revealed a strong preference for the allure of a stable, community-oriented life.

The town’s beautifully preserved architecture, cobblestone streets, and rich cultural scene contribute to its high ranking.

The town is home to cultural landmarks like the Mercer Museum, Fonthill Castle, and the Michener Art Museum, which host community events and educational programs.

Doylestown continues to attract those who long for a traditional, community-focused lifestyle, making it a top choice for singles ready to settle down.
