The property, owned by 1811 Oxford Valley LLC, has been marked for new construction, raising questions among the public.

On social media, community members are discussing the historical value of the house at 1811 Oxford Valley Rd., which is said to predate the Revolutionary War.

There is a noticeable interest in preserving such historic structures as a vital link to the community’s past.

Comments online indicate a preference for renovating and repurposing the existing building over constructing new structures, which some residents feel could impact the township’s historical landscape.
