Falls Township is seeking funding for a wheelchair-accessible playground, according to The Reporter.

The township’s board of Supervisors unanimously voted in favor of submitting a request to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources that would fund 50 percent of the cost.

The construction of the playground is planned for the second phase of Falls Township Community Park, and it is intended to follow the design of the existing handicapped playground from the park’s first phase.

The board approved two agreements settling tax appeals that will generate over $620,000 in additional 2024 taxes, starting January 1, 2024.
