Tesla recently opened a showroom in Warminster, the company’s first for electric-powered vehicles in Bucks County, writes Peg Quann for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The new dealership is located across the street from Archbishop Wood High School.

This is Tesla’s sixth dealership in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

The owner of the nine-acre property that was previously used for a grocery store and retail is Drake Motor Partners PA, which sought township approval for the dealership and repair center. The pre-existing 45,770-square-foot store has now been transformed to serve as a dealership.

While Tesla will offer vehicle sales at the location along with service, there is no auto body repair in the current plans.

“With the exception of limited automobiles available for sale and delivery to customers, there will be no outdoor storage of goods or equipment,” reads a statement.

While Tesla is still to hold a grand opening for the new dealership, the location is already in operation from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
