Perkasie Patchwork Coffeehouse is poised to host a musical duo that combines cultures on March 23, according to The Reporter.

Award-winning fiddler Janie Rothfield and her husband Allan Carr, combine Celtic tradition with Appalachian tunes.

Carr, a Scottish singer and guitarist, and Rothfield have been musically active for over 40 years.

This summer, the couple will release a new duo recording.

The performances will begin at 7:30 PM and tickets are for sale at the door. Some of the proceeds will benefit Rampacks, a non-profit that helps food-insecure children at Pennridge School District.
