Doylestown couple Paul and Aarati Martino will become the lead sponsors of the Delaware Valley Science Fairs with a $300,000 gift which will be distributed over the next 3 years, according to a staff report from the Delaware Valley Journal.

The Delaware Valley Science Fairs is a nonprofit organization that brings parents, teachers, and industry professionals together to promote science-based learning experiences for youth so they can develop into contributing members of the community. It oversees 13 local fairs across the region, including in Bucks County.

The latest donation made by the Martinos will make it possible for the organization to grow its participation levels and provide support to those who qualify for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles in May.

Delaware Valley Science Fairs will also be able to fund programs for teachers to help support experiential learning.

“Paul Martino has historically been one of the Delaware Valley Science Fairs’ biggest supporters, and we’re thrilled to welcome him and Aarati as our lead sponsors for the next 3 years,” said DVSF Executive Director Bob Solomon.
