The development of two new homes in Middletown got the green light from the township’s Board of Supervisors, writes Alex Irving for LevittownNow.

The construction, which includes two 1,034 square foot homes, will not interfere with a parcel of open land.

According to a representative from the project’s developer, the homes would be connected to the public water and sewer systems.

The developer however, said this will not be building sidewalks for the property, but instead seek other avenues such as contributing an amount to the township to cover the cost of sidewalk installation.

As the construction is underway, the two-acre lot adjacent to Firefighter Park will be retained.
