MeWow Cafe in Doylestown is helping find new homes for felines all while serving coffee, tea, and desserts, reports Alex Butler for PHL 17.

The cafe has had over 500 adoptions and is determined to reach its next goal of 550. Eilene Kramer founded MeWow five years ago after her daughter Karla mentioned the idea due to the dearth of cat cafes in their area.

Patrons can treat themselves to a hot drink and peruse around the shop for cat-themed apparel and gifts.

In another room, separate from the cafe, are dozens of furry friends waiting to be adopted.

MeWow encourages reservations so patrons can be guaranteed time with the cats. Reservations can be twenty-five or fifty minutes.

On Valentine’s Day, patrons can munch on sweet treats and sip on faux or real champagne or hot chocolate.
