Brandon Garrett, a former assistant football coach at Council Rock North, has returned after two years but this time as the school’s new head coach, writes Drew Markol for the Bucks County Courier Times.

“To be named the head coach at Council Rock North is a great opportunity,” said Garrett. “Already knowing some of the people there and coaches from other sports will be a big help going forward.”

Garrett left two seasons ago to become the head coach at New Hope-Solebury.

“I left a great group two years ago at Council Rock North because I wanted to get my feet wet as a head coach,” he said. “I was preparing this whole offseason to go back to New Hope and then I caught wind that the Council Rock North job had opened up and one thing led to another.”

Garrett met with his new players at Council Rock North earlier this week. Before that, he said goodbye to his former players at New Hope-Solebury.

“Things have moved pretty fast,” he said. “New Hope-Solebury was very good to me, and I wish them nothing but success.”
