Doylestown’s Vampa Museum is a Haven for Historical Vampire Lore and Paranormal Artifacts

Edmondo Crimi is the owner of a unique Doylestown paranormal museum.

Pennsylvania has gotten its very first museum dedicated to the world of the supernatural in Vampa: The Museum of Vampire and Paranormal Activity in Doylestown reports Alex Butler for PHL 17.

The museum has artifacts that date back to the 1500s, including original vampire killing sets. Up until recently, all the items were part of a private collection owned by Edmondo Crimi. He decided to open it to the public in October.

Some items were given to the museum by families who believed them to be haunted, such as a ship model that the previous owners “kept saying it was moving in their house,” said Crimi.

Some items at the museum are locked up, such as the talking boards, some of which date back to the 1500s, and many of the dolls. According to Crimi, he heard voices coming from that room.

Another interesting item is an original carriage from the 1700s that was used by vampire hunters to go from town to town and hire themselves out to hunt vampires. It is the only such item remaining in the world.

The museum, which is in Crimi’s own home, has more than a thousand artifacts.
