The Valley Pizza in Bensalem started as a young Lou Vera’s passion for cooking and has now grown into Bucks County’s favorite pizza, according to Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.
Lou Vera learned how to cook from his mom when he was a little kid. Since then, Vera dedicated his life to food.
“I put my heart into it. I love being in the pizza business,” he said.
Vera opened The Valley in 2009, which has since amassed a loyal customer base. With 14,000 votes on the Bucks County Courier Time’s National Pizza Week reader’s poll, The Valley is officially Bucks County’s favorite pizza spot.
Vera says he works hard to make sure his patrons feel at home. Its robust menu includes a large variety of Sicilian pizza and tomato pie, strombolis, pasta, calzones, hoagies, quesadillas, wraps, seafood, and more.
The dessert menu offers Italian favorites, such as cannolis and tiramisu, along with other classic desserts.
