Former Phillie Ryan Howard Re-Lists Rittenhouse Square Condo With 24 Percent Price Drop
Ryan Howard, who spent his entire 13-year MLB career with the Philadelphia Phillies, has put his condo back on the market with a 24 percent less asking price than when it was originally listed in January 2020, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Howard’s Rittenhouse Square condo has been on and off the market for nearly four years, and the price has dropped twice in that time.
It first came up for sale at $6.495 million in 2020, before being dropped 8% to $5.95 million in 2022. Now, it’s listed at $4.95 million.
For a time, Howard rented the unit to another athlete temporarily, but it has since been vacated.
There was a pending sale on the unit about a year ago, but the deal ultimately fell through.
The listing has since been taken over by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach.
To market the property, Laurie Phillips of the real estate firm, is undertaking other changes beyond the $1 million price drop.
This includes repainting the home and changing out a number of pieces of furniture.
