Every Dollar Counts: How Bucks County Residents Can Make a Difference in Cancer Patients’ Lives
A local non-profit is encouraging Bucks County residents to pay it forward in support of cancer patients, according to TAPintoDoylestown.
Kin Wellness and Support Center launched the Bucks Gives a Buck campaign which aims to inspire and motivate residents to donate at least one dollar to support people impacted by cancer.
Ken Fenimore, Executive Director of the non-profit, encourages the approximately 438,000 adults living in Bucks County to donate a dollar because, “
While a buck isn’t much money,” Fenimore explained, “438,000 bucks is!”
Kin Wellness is an inclusive 5,000 square foot retreat center that offers extensive integrative services and cultural enrichment to cancer patients including massage, support workshops, yoga, arts & crafts, book clubs, therapy, gardening, and more.
As of Friday, the county has raised over $2,600.
