Sober people are in luck, Bucks County’s first zero-proof bar, Free Spirit in Buckingham, offers delicious mocktails and other non-alcoholic drinks, report Jessica Yakubovsky and Alex Butler for PHL 17.
Free Spirit opened late last year as a zero-proof bar and bottle shop. In addition to offering a plethora of beverages at the bar, customers can also buy various drinks available from the shop part of the business.
Owner Christa Vigilante opened Free Spirit for a simple reason.
“Because sober people deserve options,” she said.
Some of the offerings include an Immorel Mushroom Tea, Black Ginger Chai, Watermelon Sparkling Lemonade, and a selection of canned mocktails.
“Having another option instead of alcohol,” said one customer, “honestly, I love it.”
Most of the drinks customers can make at home after buying all of the ingredients in the bar’s shop.
