Honeysuckle Provisions, My Loup, and Pietramala are three Philly restaurants on Esquire's "Best New Restaurants" list.

When going to different dining establishments across the country, one can find that radical authenticity has seen a major surge, reports Kevin Sintumuang for Esquire.

After a staff of Esquire reporters made visits to various restaurants in the U.S. — each unique in its own way  — the team put together the 41st edition of its “Best New Restaurants” list.

Three Philadelphia restaurants have found their way onto the list.

First up is the plant-based BYOB, Pietramala, in Northern Liberties.

The slogan at Pietramala is “Plants on a Pedestal.”

Chef Ian Graye and his team ensure that each dish is the result of technical precision and intense passion.

Honeysuckle Provisions is another inclusion on the list.

Led by husband-and-wife Omar Tate and Cybille St. Aude-Tate, the West Philadelphia food establishment’s goal is to nourish the neighborhood.

Honeysuckle Provisions is billed as an Afrocentric grocery and café where customers can indulge in delicious foods while learning about Black history.

My Loup also found its way onto the list.

Owned by married chefs Amanda Shulman and Alex Kemp, the French-inspired restaurant in Rittenhouse Square features a witty menu that helps showcase the chefs’ talents.
