Neshaminy High School’s Select Choir took the top spot in the 2023 B101 Christmas Choir Competition, according to a staff report from Levittown Now.

The Philadelphia-based radio station that focuses on playing Christmas music announced on Friday.

The Neshaminy choir managed to captivate both the judges and audience alike with their rendition of ‘Carol of the Bells’ and ‘Wayfaring Stranger’.

The performance was already broadcast on B101, and the station plans to continue playing the track in the coming days.

The choir received the grand prize of $5,000 as well as the honor of getting to repeat their performance at the ‘Trans-Siberian Orchestra: The Ghosts of Christmas Eve Concert’ on December 17 in Philadelphia.

The event will provide the young singers with another platform to showcase their talent.

Second place in the competition went to Ridley High School’s Rhapsody Choir and their rendition of ‘Frosty The Snowman’, while Central Bucks High School South’s Southside Acapella came in third with a rendition of My Favorite Things.
