Although the famous beau of Reading native Taylor Swift is also the brother of Eagles’ veteran player Jason Kelce, some fans have expressed disdain over the attire of the rival teams being so close together.  

Yardley resident Steve Hendershott is one of them. “They shouldn’t put it next to the Eagles stuff,” he said. Many other fans have similar sentiments, however to some — it makes sense.  

Bob Desher says that the prevalence of red jerseys is to appeal to Swifties.  

“It’s smart marketing,” Desher said.  

Last year, the brothers’ teams squared off at the Super Bowl, with the Chiefs winning 38-35.  

Ever since Travis and Taylor made international headlines as a couple, the debut has been fruitful for the brother duo as well. Now the Kelce brothers are considered the most popular NFL siblings, recently releasing a special holiday song that topped the charts.
