The Monarchs’ shooting jumped in front for a 24-16 lead over the Eagles at halftime.

Conwell-Egan Catholic tried to dig out of the hole by climbing within 35-33 in the third quarter.

The Monarchs held on with a 16-7 scoring edge in the fourth quarter.
