Director of Water Distribution & Maintenance – Springfield 

This position will utilize a data-led business performance management approach to directing and leading the inspection and maintenance of Aqua’s water distribution system. Duties include reviewing work order reports and other productivity reports and evaluating efficiency of work and attainment of goals, conducting regular meetings with assigned staff for updates, and testing new products, including the use of information technology, relating to maintenance and distribution activities, and impacting improvement in work processes. 

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree, although a Master’s degree and/or PMP is Certification preferred. Candidates must have or obtain a PADEP Drinking Water, Class E license (required within 12 months). Additionally, they should have experience leading a team of at least 20 people and experience aggregating and utilizing data to inform strategic change across operational functions.

Field Service Representative: Third Class – Springfield 

This position requires experience using a computer / tablet and working knowledge of Service Link, Aqua GIS, AIMS, AMRA, Banner, and Microsoft Office. Other duties include reading and interpreting pipeline/construction plans as it specifically relates to Meter Operations. Candidates should have mechanical aptitude for the installation, repair and replacement of meters and meter related materials ranging in size from 1/2″ through 2″ in diameter. 

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and should be a licensed Journeyman or apprentice plumber. Candidates should have the mathematical background to interpret meter readings and analyze consumption, have knowledge of the Company’s and OSHA’s safety regulations, and be physically capable of lifting up to 85 lbs.

Wastewater Operator – West Chester 

This position operates, monitors, and maintains all assigned wastewater facilities. Duties include making and implementing recommendations regarding process changes and facility adjustments, monitoring collection system performance and pump stations, and assisting with on-call responsibilities during the work week and weekends, including answering alarm calls and reporting to the facility, as necessary. 

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and must either possess or have the ability to obtain, within 24 months of the hire date, the required license for the employees’ primary assignment such as Class C and E wastewater with subclasses 1,3,4. Ideally, candidates should have two years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater or water facilities. Candidates must be able to make mathematical calculations and be able to lift 50 lbs.
