The Solebury School Holds STEM Week, Inspiring the Next Generation of Scientists

The Solebury School in New Hope kicked off a week of scientific fun for students, writes Jeff Werner for The Patch.  

STEM Week allows pupils to immerse themselves in interactive learning and introduces them to industry experts to enlighten them on promising STEM careers.  

A notable activity was the exploration of the school’s on-campus bee hives.  

They also got up close and personal with amphibians and reptiles from the Bucks County Audubon Society.  

The highlight of the week was an insightful sustainability tour of Hope Hall, the school’s upcoming dormitory set to open this month.

It stands as the inaugural Phius CORE design-certified Passive House multi-residential structure in Bucks County, boasting a construction based on recycled foam glass aggregates.
