Central Bucks West outlasts Garnet Valley in overtime classic

Central Bucks West used overtime to slip past Garnet Valley 28-27 in Pennsylvania high school football on Nov. 10.

The first quarter gave Central Bucks West a 7-0 lead over Garnet Valley.

Both teams needed to regroup after dueling to a 7-7 standoff at the end of the second quarter.

Nothing was decided in the third quarter, with Central Bucks West and Garnet Valley locked in a 14-14 stalemate.

Nothing was decided in the fourth quarter, with the Bucks and the Jaguars locked in a 21-21 stalemate.

Central Bucks West got the better of the first overtime-period scoring, finishing the game in style with a 7-6 edge.
