After 45 years of entrepreneurship, Dottie Sentner is passing the ownership baton of the beloved Fireside Smokehouse Inn in Feasterville.

After 45 years of entrepreneurship, Dottie Sentner is passing the ownership baton of the beloved Fireside Smokehouse Inn in Feasterville, writes Michele Haddon for Bucks County Courier Times.

Since its inception in 1978, Dottie and her husband John have turned the establishment into a local staple.

Taking the reins is Jenn Capobianco, a familiar face who has served as a bartender for eight years. Together with her husband Michael, a seasoned proprietor with four other bars under his belt, they promise to maintain the establishment’s cozy neighborhood essence while infusing it with new life.

The new menu sparkles with seafood, steak, and pasta delights, while the “Smokehouse” in the name will be retired to embrace the refreshed identity.

Culinary novelties include the spicy shrimp appetizer, deep-fried Daytona Wings, and the Popem Pastalaya—a nod to jambalaya.

To quench the thirst of its patrons, craft beers and imaginative cocktails will flow from the bar. The new Fireside now welcomes guests seven days a week, from the lunch hour at 11:30 AM to late-night revelries until 2 AM.
