The Newtown Bookshop is now operating out of a new location, and the owners will be celebrating the occasion later this month.

Having been located at 2835 South Eagle Road in Newtown for many years, the business recently relocated just down the road to 2120 South Eagle Road, located within the Village at Newtown South near the popular Newtown Farmers Market and the new location of The Borscht Belt.

The shop resumed regular operations at 10 AM on Oct. 10 at the new location, situated between Quest Diagnostics and Great Clips.

“We can’t wait to have all of you see our store — it looks AMAZING!” the shop said online.

The owners will host a grand reopening celebration on Oct. 28.

The bookstore regularly hosts author events and has been bringing in big name from the literary world. Back in June, the bookshop held a speaking engagement with author Kristan Higgins as she discusses her latest work, “A Little Ray of Sunshine”.
