River House at Odette’s in New Hope will host several Halloween events this month, offering a fun time for guests in attendance.

The hotel will host two “Fireside Ghost Story” events with the team from New Hope Ghost Tours on Oct. 11 and 18 from 7:30 – 8:30 PM.

On Friday the 13th, the hotel will have a fortune teller and tarot card reader work with guests who want a glimpse into their future.

The $60 million hotel features 36 rooms and two extended stay suites, along with a piano lounge featuring live music and a rooftop bar inspired by the 1970s. It opened in September of 2020 at 274 River Road.

The name of the resort along the Delaware River is a homage to actress and musician Odette Myrtil Logan. She acquired the property in 1961 and started operating a cabaret named Chez Odette’s.

Travel + Leisure readers called River House at Odette’s “beautifully decorated” and “professionally staffed.” They also described it as having an “over the top” atmosphere.
