Central Bucks West fought back from a slow start and rolled to 40-29 win over Central Bucks South in Pennsylvania high school football action on Oct. 20.

Central Bucks South showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 14-7 advantage over Central Bucks West as the first quarter ended.

The Bucks’ offense darted in front for a 27-14 lead over the Titans at halftime.

Neither team could gain any advantage in the third quarter.

The Bucks enjoyed a big enough lead to offset the Titans’ 8-6 advantage in the final quarter.

Pennsbury scores early, pulls away from Abington
