Neumann-Goretti Catholic overcame a spirited challenge and rallied for a 28-14 win against Conwell-Egan Catholic in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Oct. 13.

Conwell-Egan Catholic showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 14-12 advantage over Neumann-Goretti Catholic as the first quarter ended.

The Saints’ offense moved in front for a 20-14 lead over the Eagles at the intermission.

Neither squad could muster points in the third quarter.

The Saints got the better of the fourth-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with an 8-0 edge.
