Broad Street Brewing is opening its own taproom this fall in Bristol.

Breweries are fermenting around southeastern Pennsylvania, and some Bucks County taprooms are making their debut, writes Henry Savage for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Bristol’s Broad Street Brewing distributes its brew to local bars but now has its brick-and-mortar location. On tap is the popular Hey Yo! Hazy IPA among a variety of other “highly drinkable,” beers in the words of co-owner Ed Webber.

Founded by childhood friends, Second Sin Brewing is hopping over to Newtown, while still running its premier location in Bristol. The German-style classic beer features seasonal flavors that rotate every week.

Among the taps are hoppy ales, sours, and dark lagers. This prolific brewery makes 52 beers a year. The second location is set to open in December or January.

Warminster-based Jamaican Jerk Hut will also play a role in Souderton’s Brass Collar Brewing Co. The locomotive-themed establishment will be at a former SEPTA train station, serving IPAs, light beer, seltzer, and soft drinks. Through Menagerie Foods Service, the Warminster business will serve crabcake burgers and chicken chili.
