As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a Bucks County winery is working with a local nonprofit to help those in need.

Buckingham Valley Vineyards & Winery, located at 1521 Durham Road in Buckingham, recently unveiled its latest creation, a sparkling wine called “PINK.” In partnership with the Doylestown nonprofit Main St., owned and operated by Keith Fenimore, the winery will be donating a percentage of sales from the wine to the organization, which works to help local breast cancer patients.

“Make sure to check out their page for all of their October events if you’re interested in other ways to support them!!” the winery said online.

This is not the first time the winery has created a unique drink for a special purpose.

Back in February, the winery released “Brut Champs”, a green sparkling brut wine made in honor of the Eagles making their way to the Super Bowl.

The nonprofit, formerly known as Pine2Pink, will be hosting the third annual “Light the Night Pink” event in Newtown on Oct. 12 from 6 – 9 PM.
