Looking to Get Rid of Your Old Electronics? This Bucks County Township Has You Covered

Bensalem Township will be hosting a free “Electronics Recycling Event” in the fall. The event will be held from Oct. 21 – 29 at 3800 Hulmeville Road.

Electronics that can be brought include desktop and laptop computers, keyboards and mice, cell phone and laptop batteries, audiovisual equipment, telephones, and cell phones, to name a few.

Items that will not be accepted include household batteries, car batteries, light bulbs, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes.

This event is for Bensalem residents only. No commercial businesses are permitted to attend. Identification must be shown at the drop-off site.

Founded back in 1998, Building a Better Bensalem Together is a volunteer community coalition that plans, organizes, and participates in various events, activities, and programs in the Bensalem area. It regularly hosts Unity Week, Holiday Pancake Breakfasts, and Red Ribbon Week Internet Safety programs for parents.

“The mission of Building a Better Bensalem Together is to unify the community by building partnerships to enhance community relations and providing programs and resources to address community needs,” the organization said online.
