National Autoworkers’ Strike Expands into Falls Township. Read to Learn All the Details

As a strike against the Big Three auto manufacturers from Detroit continues, a facility in Bucks County is now a part of the demonstrations. Staff writers at WFMZ-69 News wrote about the strike.

Last week, the United Auto Workers Union announced that autoworkers would expand their strike against General Motors and Stellantis to 38 locations across 20 states. A Falls Township facility is now one of the locations that is seeing its autoworkers go on strike.

The General Motors facility in Langhorne saw protestors lined outside of the building as a part of the strike.

“As you know, we gave our Members Demands to the company two months ago,” United Auto Workers Union President Shawn Fain said in a statement.

“They wasted a whole month failing to respond. But there has been movement. In particular, we’ve made real progress at Ford. We’re not there yet, but I want you to see the direction that Ford is going, and what we think that means for our contract fight.”
