Frontier Airlines Will Soon Be Offering Flights to Dominican Republic from Philadelphia
Starting December 17, Frontier Airlines will be offering nonstop seasonal service between Philadelphia International Airport and the Dominican Republic, writes Emma Dooling for Philadelphia Business Journal.
The airline will fly nonstop to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic three times a week. Frontier will be the only airline to offer this service out of Philadelphia.
Tickets for this flight start at $99 and customers can book as far in advance as February 13.
“Philadelphia has a growing Dominican population and is home to a recently established Consulate General of the Dominican Republic,” Philadelphia International Airport CEO Atif Saeed said in a statement.
“Not only is the route launching in time for the winter vacation season, it will also provide many Philadelphia-area residents with a direct connection to visit their loved ones during the upcoming holiday season and beyond.”
