Council Rock South finally found a way to top Quakertown 20-17 in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Sept. 22.

Council Rock South moved in front of Quakertown 7-0 to begin the second quarter.

The Panthers had a 14-7 edge on the Golden Hawks at the beginning of the third quarter.

Quakertown moved ahead by earning a 17-13 advantage over Council Rock South at the end of the third quarter.

It took a 7-0 rally, but the Golden Hawks were up to the task, grabbing the lead for good in the fourth quarter.

In recent action on Sept. 14, Quakertown faced off against Plymouth-Whitemarsh and Council Rock South took on Truman on Sept. 14 at Council Rock South High School.
