Oktoberfest is being celebrated around Bucks County this month, and Doylestown is planning its own festivities for local residents.

The Doylestown Farmers Market, located at 2-50 Hamilton Street, will see its vendors offer traditional Oktoberfest foods and other goods on Sept. 16. Several vendors will also be offering ingredients for customers to make their own German-inspired dishes at home; the farmer’s market will supply recipes in its community newsletter.

“Our community partners are PA Soup & Seafood which will offer special Oktoberfest dishes that you can order while at the HopsScotch Beer Garden, and Penn Taproom will offer special Oktoberfest beers on tap!” the farmer’s market said online.

The market will be held from 8 AM – 1 PM.

“The first 100 adults to check in with us at the green market tent will get a free Oktoberfest cup that can be taken to the HopsScotch Beer Garden for a special $5 Weihenstephaner Oktoberfest beer (opens at 11:30)! “
