A dance company just outside of Bucks County is preparing to have some of its students perform in an upcoming show at a New Jersey winery.

Dancers from the Roxey Ballet Company, headquartered in Frenchtown, will be performing in the “Dancing On The Green” at the Old York Cellars Winery in Ringoes, New Jersey on Oct. 7. The dance company will partake in four performances while audience members enjoy food and wine.

The schedule is thus:

• 12:30 PM “Mary Luz”
• 1 PM “Roots”
• 1 PM “Narcisa”
• 2 PM “Meu Bem”
• 3 PM “Mary Luz”
• 3 PM “Roots”
• 4 PM “Narcisa
• 4 PM “Meu bem”

The performances will complement the beautiful environment of the winery, framed like a painting by the natural splendor of the fall foliage landscape. The event is free and open to the public with performances occurring throughout the day.

“The Roxey Ballet began in 1995 as the Hunterdon Youth Ballet when professional dancers, Mark and Melissa Roxey, brought world-class professional dance training and performance opportunities to Hunterdon County, New Jersey and Bucks County, Pennsylvania,” the school’s website reads.

“Mark and Melissa both had distinguished careers with American dance companies including The Joffrey Ballet, American Repertory Ballet, and Dayton Ballet, among others.”
