The popular community event will be held next week

Every year, a township in Bucks County hosts one of the celebrated community events in the entire area, and this year is no different.

The annual Lower Makefield Township Community Day event will be returning to Yardley on Aug. 26, with lots of fun events planned for the day.

“Enjoy live music, amusements, vendors, and great food!” event organizers said online.

“Community Day would not be complete without a full-sky fireworks display by Zambelli Fireworks! Don’t miss out!”

The event will be held at Lower Makefield Township Community Park from 12 PM to dusk.

For those interested becoming a vendor, the townships’s website has links with instruction on how to apply and who to contact. Information on the 3×3 basketball torment will guide potential players in the right direction of how to register for the athletic activities.

The annual event is something that all local residents will be looking forward to as the month comes to a close.
