Conshohocken is gaining national attention for its culinary delights, writes Emily Cappiello for Condé Nast Traveler.

She gave the town a nod as one of the seven small towns across the country that are secret food destinations.

The indie restaurants on Fayette Street are popular dining hotspots. If you love brunch every day, not just on the weekends, then the restaurant Brunch is a must-visit. Try the Brunch pie with butternut squash, spinach, and eggs in a flaky pastry crust.

Flanigan’s Boathouse is known for its Farm House Burger —an Angus beef patty topped with barbecue pulled pork and a sunny-side-up egg.

And don’t forget to stop by Southern Cross Kitchen on 1st Avenue for some down-home cooking. Southern Cross Kitchen’s specialties include fried green tomatoes with a mozzarella cheese twist or mac n’ cheese made with smoked gouda.

A local favorite is Guppy’s Good Times on Maple Street. The kitchen here serves up savory dishes like Old Bay on a sushi roll and chowder with queso fresco.

Other small towns that made the list include Ketchum, Idaho, and Saugatuck, Michigan.

Find out what other towns made the list in Condé Nast Traveler.
