Langhorne’s Sheraton Hotel to Go Up for Auction, with Bids Starting at $3.9 Million

A popular hotel in Bucks County is going up for auction, and the owners of the property are asking for a hefty price for the large building. Emma Dooling wrote about the. auction for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The Sheraton Bucks County Langhorne, located at 400 Oxford Valley Road in Langhorne, is being put up for auction from Aug. 7 – 9 by RI Marketplace. Starting bigs will begin at $3.9 million.

The property has been owned by Sheraton, a part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, for 37 years. A part of the auction’s deal will include “flexible branding options”, meaning that a competing company could buy the property and rebrand it under a new name.

A typical stop for businesspeople in the Bucks County area, the hotel has long been used by those visiting Sesame Place, which is located directly across the street.

The building has long served as a marker for those driving into and out of Bucks County, as the large building can be seen from I-95.
