The property of a popular golf course in Bucks County is dealing with the aftermath of a recent fire, which damaged one of its buildings.

The Oxford Valley Golf Course, located at 141 North Oxford Valley Road in Fairless Hills, saw its clubhouse damaged after a fire on Tuesday. Investigators have determined that it was an electrical fire.

“The fire primarily damaged the roof and exterior of the clubhouse and caused smoke damage throughout the building. General Services will assess and address the needed repairs,” the Bucks County Government said in an alert.

The golf course is a part of the local Parks and Recreation Department and is operated by Spirit Golf Management.

The course was unaffected by the fire, but it will remain closed for some time as the damage is assessed and dealt with properly. The Fairless Hills Fire Department, Falls Township Fire Department, Edgely Fired Department, and Levittown Fire Department were some of the local safety agencies that came to deal with the fire.
