Bryn Mawr College Named One of the 25 Most Beautiful College Campuses in U.S.
There are a lot of factors to consider when choosing a college, everything from curriculum to cost can play into your decision. But often times just the feel or vibe of a campus can call to you.
The architecture and picturesque settings of a campus often draw in prospective students and their families. Travel + Leisure editors recently ranked the 25 most beautiful colleges and universities in the U.S., and Bryn Mawr College ranked No. 22.
The college is known for its Gothic style architecture created by the architecture firm Cope and Stewardson. Other U.S. college campuses went on to emulate the same style, including Princeton University in New Jersey and Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
The grounds of the campus are also noteworthy. Frederick Law Olmsted, who designed Central Park, was instrumental in designing the campus’s 135 tree-covered acres.
