Education in the United States wears many price tags, but one local high school is among those that will break the bank for learning, writes Michael Rivera for the Southwest Journal.

The most expensive high school in the country is The Lawrenceville School in neighboring New Jersey, with an annual tuition of $73,220.

Meanwhile, The Hill School in Pottstown has an annual tuition fee of $61,410, which is the sixth-highest tuition in the country.

The school is also well known for its academic excellence and liberal arts programs. So, while it may seem expensive, it can definitely be considered money well spent.

Additionally, the school encourages a family-like environment and promotes academic and social growth in a close-knit community.

The Hill School is the only school from Pennsylvania to make it onto the list. New York dominated the ranking with eight of its schools listed among the 15 most expensive.
