NJM Insurance Group recently donated a salvage vehicle to the collision repair technology program at Bucks County Technical High School. The 2018 Kia Optima will provide a hands-on opportunity to help students prepare for careers as collision repair technicians and other related occupations.

“We are delighted to provide this vehicle that will enhance the students’ learning experience and help them understand the intricacies of vehicle systems and technology,” said Dan Toadvine, the company’s Vice President, General Claims.

“At our core NJM is a purpose driven organization. This donation helps exercise our commitment to support the communities we are privileged to serve.”

In addition to charitable donations NJM’s employee engagement activities extend throughout the company providing rich opportunities to connect and give back to communities including food and clothing drives. Community service programs offer employees opportunities to attend community outreach events, and volunteer their time and talents including service on multiple nonprofit committees and boards

“Over the past few years, our school has been in desperate need to secure newer model vehicles in order for our students to learn and train on state-of-the-art equipment and vehicles,” said Leon Poeske, Administrative Director of the school.
