The fair was once a popular occurrence for many decades.

After a long absence in the area, a once-popular fair is returning to Bucks County in order to fundraise for the community.

The VIA of Doylestown announced the return of the Village Fair, which was regularly held from the 1960s to the 1990s. The event will be held on June 24 at Central Park, located at 425 Wells Road in Doylestown Township, from 12 – 4 PM.

“The afternoon will feature live entertainment, games, food trucks, and a variety of booths staffed by volunteers from participating nonprofit organizations,” the VIA of Doylestown said online.

“Some of the organizations will have items for sale, while others will feature displays, activities, and games to challenge and entertain visitors.”

Local organizations that will be providing entertainment include the Bucks County Performing Arts, Doylestown School of Rock, Kirkpatrick Irish Dance Company, and Action Karate, among others. Attendees can enjoy various food trucks, a donkey rescue exhibit, a 9-hole Disc Golf Tournament, and more.

Admission to the event is $5 for those over the age of 6 and will be held rain or shine.
