Bucks County Park Listed as Top Spot for Rock Climbing and Other Outdoor Adventures
One of the many parks in Bucks County has been listed as an incredible spot for those looking to engage in rock climbing.
Ralph Stover State Park, located in Plumstead and Tinicum Townships, is renowned as a great place for rock climbing. Within the park, adventure seekers can make their way to High Rocks, which offers 150 feet of sheer cliffs and 100 different routes to choose from.
Staff at the Delaware Canal State Park complex offer climbing programs on an intermittent basis that are open to the public and for private groups. The park also partners with the Doylestown Rock Gym to literally show the ropes of the outdoor activity.
Regarded as one of the best outdoor areas in the county, it is a great spot for rock climbers of every skill level.
Other parks listed were McConnells Mill State Park in Lawrence County and Ohiopyle State Park in Fayette County.
