The event will bring entertainment and food to the Bucks County area.

The Music Project, an entrepreneurial group in Bucks County, wants to create a music venue with up to 7,000 seats along with nearby state-of-the-art recording studios and a second area with rehearsal spaces, writes Greg Vellner for The Reporter.

The group, headed by local entrepreneurs and founder Richard Towey, laid out its plans to create sort of a local version of Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall, formerly known as the Electric Factory, during a meeting at the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center of Bucks County in Buckingham.

The group did not name any location but they did say they hope the smaller venue could be completed by 2026 at the latest and the large one by the following year.

The mission is to “create world-class experiences that will bring resources back to our county and enhance the quality of life in Bucks County,” said Towey. “We aim to create a social impact in our community through music.”

The Music Project hopes to fundraise money from individual donors and government funds, as well as being able to get some local sponsorships and corporate donations.

According to the proposal, the establishment of such a venue and its additions would be an economic boon to Bucks County.
