Warminster Sports Club Brings Back Popular ‘Biergarten’, Offering Food, Live Music

A club in Bucks County has announced the continuation of a popular series of musical events, which will be held on their property.

Vereinigung Erzgebirge, a German-American social and sports club located at 130 Davisville Road in Warminster, is bringing back their popular “Biergarten”, which will see live entertainment and food returning to the grounds.

The events will begin on May 20 with a Tom Petty cover band and wrap up on Sept. 30. The Biergarten will be open from 5 – 10 PM on the days the events are held. Food will be served from 5 – 8:30 PM, and bands will play from 6 – 9 PM, with intermissions included in the schedule.

Vereinigung Erzgebirge, whose name translates to “Ore Mountains Association” from the original German, was founded by immigrants from the Erzgebirge region of Germany in 1931. Offering a wide array of sports programs, as well as community events, this series of shows is meant to bring the community together and celebrate their work in a festive manner.
