Joe Dubyk, a roofer from Jamison, has been traveling through Ukraine to deliver medical supplies to those affect by the recent conflict with Russia. He’s also giving away equipment like drones and scopes to those who might need it for safety purposes.

While in the country, Dubyk plans to use his skills to help repair buildings and clear rumble that has accumulated as a result of attacks in several areas.

“It’ll be a little bit dangerous, but I don’t think it will be incredibly dangerous,” Dubyk said, who is of Ukrainian descent.

Owner of Apex Roofing and Sheet Metal, this is Dubyk’s second trip to the country. He plans to stay until July in order to help more people.
