The inn has stood in Bucks County for many years.

The Inn at Bowman’s Hill, a bed and breakfast in New Hope nestled on five lovely acres, just hit the market for $4.5 million. Emma Dooling wrote about the estate for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The 518 Lurgan Road lot is being marketed as a single-family property. Current owner Michael Amery bought the site and opened the bed and breakfast nearly two decades ago. The Inn at Bowman’s Hill has a AAA Four Diamond rating, which is given to properties with “upscale style and amenities enhanced with the right touch of service.”

Amery put the property up for sale after deciding it was time for him to retire. Whether the property will continue to operate as an inn or is converted to a residence depends solely on the buyer, he said.

Built in 1978, the three-story manor has 12 bedrooms, 12 full and two half bathrooms, a heated in-ground pool, and gardens. The property is also home to a four-bedroom carriage house and six oversized garages.

Laurie Madaus and Chris Preston with Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty have the listing.
