Holy Family University to Host 66th Commencement at Newtown Campus
A major university will be hosting its commencement for the Class of 2023 at their Bucks County campus this weekend.
Holy Family University will hold its 66th Commencement on May 20 at its Newtown campus, celebrating close to 900 undergraduate and graduate students who are prepared to join the workforce with in-demand jobs such as counselors, educators, nurses, entrepreneurs, and scientists.
The University will confer honorary degrees upon Rev. Dennis Holtschneider, the president of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, and Thomas R. Bailey, the president of Teachers College at Columbia University.
“Commencement is a milestone moment; a time to commemorate the accomplishments of our students and celebrate their future,” the university said online. “Holy Family University will celebrate the Class of 2023 with commencement ceremonies – graduate and undergraduate – on May 20, 2023.”
A Catholic university, Holy Family University hosted a Mass of Joyful Celebration on May 18 in the Campus Center Gymnasium in honor of the Class of 2023. Reverend Nelson J. Pérez, D.D., the Archbishop of Philadelphia, oversaw the mass. A reception was hosted by President Anne Prisco after the Mass.
